well, i'm back! i think.

So here I am, back at withoutwords.net – would it be too hokey to say that it’s like coming home? Well regardless, feels good to see a design up here again. The other blog was a nice and much needed departure but it never really, truly stuck. Plus wordpress was starting to drive me crazy, not to mention making me lazy about design. Which is the other reason for this comeback. I don’t think I’ve designed something original and for personal use in over a year. Just in general, I haven’t designed much at all. I was starting to feel like I had lost my touch. And this design I’ve just put up – it might not be my best or anything spectacular but it’s something. Something I personally like and enjoyed working on. It’s simple and most importantly, it’s mine.

Honestly, blogging again is stranger and harder to do than I expected. Even as I’m writing right now, I’m wondering if I’m being too serious or if I should try to be humorous. But I don’t think trying to be funny works for me. It’s better when I just ramble and people laugh at me. But I digress.
