top 10 books

The lists are winding down and I purposely saved this one for towards the end. Why? Because I knew it would be one of the harder ones to put together. Of all the books I’ve read in the last decade (and were actually published during that time too), which ones really stood out? Below are my personal favorites based on many different reasons and in no particular order:
- The Time Traveler’s Wife by Audrey Niffenegger (2003)
- Shadow of the Wind by Carlos Ruiz Zafón (2001)
- Water for Elephants by Sara Gruen (2007)
- The Last Lecture by Randy Pausch (2008)
- The Housekeeper and the Professor by Yoko Ogawa (2009)
- Eat, Pray, Love by Elizabeth Gilbert (2007)
- Harry Potter series by J.K. Rowling (1997-2007)
- Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants series by Ann Brashares (2001-2008)
- Still Alice by Lisa Genova (2009)
- Persepolis by Marjane Satrapi (2003)
4 lists down, 2 days until Christmas (!!) and 9 until New Year’s!
PS. I hope everyone is enjoying these lists and getting some new music, reads, etc out of it!

you usually provide a good list of books. i should get on with the readings if i had the time. i’ve read 3 outta your 10 lol need more time to do things!
