song of the day: i want you to (acoustic)

Did anyone else know that Weezer was releasing a new album (yesterday)? Because I had no idea. Anyway, I heard the first single “(If You’re Wondering If I Want You To) I Want You To” as a duet with Leighton Meester (from Gossip Girl) and I thought, eh – it’s not bad. Then I heard the album version (just Weezer, no duet) and I really liked it. And then I heard the acoustic duet of the same song but with Sara Bareilles instead and now I am completely obsessed with the song. You can’t go wrong when Sara Bareilles is singing. But I’ve been reading reviews of the their latest album and it seems pretty negative (though that didn’t stop me from buying it for only $3.99 on Amazon). Personally, I love the upbeat energy of this song and can’t stop dancing along to it from my seat at work. Hopefully no one notices :)
