(Note: I couldn’t help myself with the title of this entry. But in fact, according to the instructions the film came with, you are not supposed to shake them! )
After wanting this camera for nearly a year, I finally caved in and bought it – a
Fujifilm Instax Mini 7S. It’s an instant camera and basically another alternative to Polaroids, which were discontinued last year. It has automatic flash and different shooting modes. The pictures are credit card sized. And the camera itself is just so weird looking. I love it! Heh. Plus, there’s something nice about the immediate gratification you get with this type of camera. Each picture you take is literally unique (yes, you could scan it and print that way but it’s not the same!).
If you are considering getting one (I would recommend it!), do not order from Urban Outfitters. I first saw the camera there but after a little research online, I quickly realized that it was way overpriced. You can get it a lot cheaper at B&H Photo Video or Adorama Photo.
I’ll try to post more pictures soon!
