Most of the time I don’t help with decorating the Christmas tree. And unfortunately, most of the time my tree turns out kind of ugly looking (sorry Mom!). Then the one time I took it upon myself to decorate our decades old Christmas tree, it fell over a day later wrecking about half our ornaments. Needless to say, I was determined that this year was going to be different. I dragged my cousins with me to Target, bought a brand new fake tree plus a bunch of new ornaments and Christmas stockings. I wanted to go all out! (And a lot of people apparently had the same idea because Target was a mad house.)
I’m really happy with the way it turned out. Now I can cross Christmas tree off my list of to do’s for the holidays and concentrate on all the presents I’ve put off buying :)

@tida – funny you should say that.. notice how the tree is by a glass door? we discreetly tied it the door knob, just in case =P
