This blog is a collection of my (quasi) daily thoughts. I'm Rachel - a 26 year old working in NYC as a web designer & developer for a social networking company. I’ve been told that: I read like a monster, I’m an indiscernable music liker and my red velvet cupcakes are awesome. Also, I’m addicted to bags.

baltimore, maryland

2 September 2009

Second part of our vacation: Baltimore, Maryland. We didn’t realize that Baltimore was another 3 hours away from Ocean City so it was another mini roadtrip just to get there. But once we did, we dove right into lots (and lots!) of good food and exploring. It’s actually a really nice city to visit with beautiful sights to see (granted, you also have to avoid the ghetto areas).

During our stay, we:

  • went to Greektown for authetic Greek/Mediterranean food
  • visited Geppi’s Entertainment Museum which is dedicated to pop culture
  • explored Inner Harbor & did some shopping
  • checked out the National Aquarium (all 3 floors!)
  • had tapas at a restaurant with live flamenco dancers
  • took advantage of the pool/jacuzzi at our hotel
  • ate/bought crabs (can’t go to Maryland and not eat crabs!)

Overall, just had a really good time! Below is a slideshow of pictures from our entire vacation or if you prefer, you can go here.
